Welcome to Mountain River Flower Patch. By using our website or purchasing tickets, you agree to the following terms. Please read them carefully.

These terms apply to anyone who:

  • browses the website,
  • submits a contact form,
  • books or buys tickets,
  • attends a picking session or private booking.

1. Who we are

Mountain River Flower Patch is a small family-run flower patch in Mountain River, Tasmania.

2. Using the website

You’re welcome to browse the website for personal use.

You agree not to:

  • interfere with the site’s operation,
  • try to access restricted areas,
  • use the site for unlawful purposes,
  • scrape content or copy material without permission.

All website content (text, images, branding) is owned by us and protected under Australian copyright law.

3. Ticket purchases

All tickets must be purchased through our ticketing provider. By buying a ticket, you agree to their terms and ours.

Ticketing rules

  • All bookings must be made online before your session.
  • Payment is processed securely through the ticketing provider.
  • Prices are shown in Australian dollars.
  • A booking is confirmed only once payment is complete and you receive an email confirmation.

We don’t store or handle your payment details.

4. Cancellations, refunds & changes

We follow the policies outlined by the patch:

Public sessions

  • You may transfer your ticket to someone else.
  • If you notify us 48 hours before your session, we can refund or reschedule.
  • If we cancel due to weather or other factors, you may choose a refund or reschedule.

Private sessions

  • Minimum of 5 paying guests must be maintained.
  • Guests cancelling 48 hours prior will be refunded individually.
  • If the organiser cancels 48 hours prior, the whole booking is refunded.
  • If cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice, the minimum 5 tickets will still be charged.

If we cancel for safety or operational reasons, a refund or reschedule will be offered.

5. Conduct at the patch

By attending, you agree to follow all onsite rules and directions. These include:

  • No smoking.
  • No loud swearing or disruptive behaviour.
  • No standing on flower beds.
  • Respect all marked boundaries (e.g., veggie garden, beehive area, orchard).
  • Children must be supervised at all times.
  • No dogs on site.
  • No drones without prior written permission.
  • Alcohol is not permitted.

We reserve the right to refuse entry or remove anyone who breaches these rules.

6. Safety

The patch is part of our home property. Ground may be uneven, and bees are naturally present.

By attending, you accept that:

  • you enter at your own risk,
  • you are responsible for your own safety,
  • you will wear suitable clothing and footwear,
  • you’ll take care around bees, tools, buckets, and garden beds.

We will have basic first aid supplies on hand, including an epi-pen for emergencies.

7. Photography

  • Casual photos during public sessions are welcome.
  • No photos of other people not in your family group.
  • Commercial or professional photography must be booked as a separate paid session.
  • You may bring your own photographer only for private bookings.
  • We may take general photos of the patch for marketing, but we will not knowingly publish identifiable images of guests without consent.

8. Privacy

Your privacy matters.

In short:

  • Contact form info stays with us and is not shared.
  • Ticketing info is shared only with our ticketing provider.
  • We do not sell or give your data to third parties.

9. Liability

To the extent permitted by Tasmanian and Australian law:

  • We are not liable for injury, loss, damage, or theft that occurs on site.
  • You accept responsibility for yourself, your children, and your belongings while visiting.
  • We are not responsible for errors or downtime on the ticketing platform.

Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time.
